Dead Island 2 is available for free in the Epic Store. Happy Game is also available for free. Find out if it’s worth downloading at GlobalESportNews.

Bargain hunters take note! If you’re looking to expand your gaming horizons without breaking the bank, now’s the time to take a closer look.

Two interesting titles are currently available for free in the Epic Games Store. The focus is on the action-packed zombie carnage Dead Island 2, which is being given away two years after its release. But fans of surreal horror will also get their money’s worth: the disturbing Happy Game can also be added to your library permanently – completely free of charge.

Why Dead Island 2 is worth it

(Genre: Action-adventure – Developer: Deep Silver Dambuster Studio – Release: April 21, 2023)

If you’ve always wanted to smash the virtual skulls of hordes of undead in bloody close combat, now’s your chance. Dead Island 2, released in April 2023 and sending players to a sunny but zombie-infested Los Angeles, is currently available for free on the Epic Games Store.

In Dead Island 2, you take on the role of one of six playable characters, all of whom have unique abilities and an insatiable thirst for zombie destruction. The story takes you through iconic locations in L.A., from the mansions of Beverly Hills to Venice Beach, all of which have been ravaged by a gruesome zombie plague.

Happy Game is a free psycho trip

(Genre: Action-adventure – Developer: Deep Silver Dambuster Studio – Release: April 21, 2023)

If you like things even more twisted and psychologically disturbing, you should check out Happy Game. The indie horror game from Czech studio Amanita Design, known for their surreal point-and-click adventures such as Machinarium and Creaks, is also available for free download in the Epic Store.

In Happy Game, you take on the role of a little boy whose happy dreams suddenly turn into nightmarish scenarios. The world is populated by grotesque creatures, menacing shadows, and an omnipresent atmosphere of unease. Your task is to navigate the boy through these disturbing dream worlds, solve puzzles, and escape the nightmarish creatures.
