Free: Epic is currently giving you top-notch action with Lara Croft and a relaxing puzzle game to balance things out

Right on schedule on Wednesday evening, Epic is once again knocking on your door with free games. This time, it’s Tomb Raider and a game about being stranded on an island.

You look away for just a second and you’ve missed Thursday at 5 p.m. Game hunters know: At this magical hour, there arenew free games from Epic Games. Usually, the platform announces what you can grab for free the coming week before the big reveal. That’s not the case today, which is why our news is coming a bit later, but the wait was worth it.

Until May 28, 2026, at 5 p.m.you can grab two games right away: Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered and Down in Bermuda. Once in your library, always in your library.

Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered

Tomb Raider 1-3 Remasteredis an absolute classic with a fresh new look. In this remastered edition, the first three installments of the famous adventure series featuring archaeologist Lara Croft have been polished up. Also included are the expansions released for the originals.

In the first Tomb Raider, Lara Croft travels the world to find a mysterious artifact called the Scion and, in the process, uncovers a conspiracy surrounding Atlantis.

In Tomb Raider 2, however, she hunts for the powerful Dagger of Xian, which can turn humans into dragons, while battling a cult.

Tomb Raider 3 tells the story of Lara’s search for four pieces of a meteorite artifact scattered across the globe that possess dangerous powers.

New to the remaster is a Challenge Mode that lets you modify the levels and make them more difficult. By the way, if you’re more in the mood for the original polygon look and the quirky controls, you can easily switch that in the game.

Down in Bermuda

You’ll also become an explorer and adventurer inDown in Bermuda, though it’s a bit less nerve-wracking. Your starting situation is significantly more unpleasant than Lara Croft’s. Instead of traveling the world as a wealthy heiress, you’re stranded on an island in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle as a crash-landed pilot.

Year after year passes on the island, and you must come to terms with life in the wild. To perhaps make it home after all, you’ll solve puzzles, unravel mysteries, and escape from a total of six different islands.
