Dying Light 2 provides you with the first free DLCs before the “real” addons arrive. The first one is a Peacekeeper outfit for Aiden.
The developers at Techland want to supply Dying Light 2 with new content for at least five years, now a first free DLC makes the start.February 14, 2022, you can pack protagonist Aiden in a free Peacekeeper outfit. However, the Authority Pack will not be released all at once, but in three parts. We’ll give you all the info.

What’s in the free Authority Pack?
New weapon and new outfit: The first free DLC for Dying Light 2 gives you a free outfit, which is based on the Peacekeeper faction. There’s also a two-handed weapon that makes use of the weight of an engine block
When will the free DLC be released?
The free Authority Pack for Dying Light 2 will be released in three parts, so you won’t get all the clothes as well as the Peacekeeper weapon at once. So far we only know a single date for the new content, we will of course update this article as soon as we know more:
- Chest piece, sweatpants, trainers: 14 February 2022
- Headpiece, bracers, gloves: not yet known
- Weapon: not yet known
How do I secure the free DLC?
How to get the loot:
* Go to the (official Techland website)
* Opens the tab (Events)
* Now look for the submenu Authority Pack and click on More
* Scroll down to the Download section and select the platform you are playing on
* Now you will need to log in to the appropriate page that opens with the account you have: Playstation, (Xbox), (Steam) or (Epic)
* Once you have secured the items there, open the game
* If everything has worked, a text window in the main menu will inform you that you can find the additional content in Aiden’s Hideout.
* Now load your save game and find Aiden’s hideout in a safe zone – it is usually located next to a sleeping area
* Once you have opened the menu of Aiden’s Hideout, you can add the items there to your inventory
By the way: Access to the free items is not linked to your decisions during the story. Since Dying Light 2’s outfits are cosmetic in nature and only affect certain status stats, you’ll get the Peacekeeper outfits even if you support the survivors.
