The new, paid Water Wars DLC for Dune: Awakening is purely a cosmetic package that offers new building components, decorations, and skins for just under 10 euros. The real gameplay innovations—including the new Windpass area, a new boss enemy, and the option for self-hosted servers—are, however, included in the completely free Update 1.4, released at the same time.
