After The Day Before, a survival and crafting shooter from MYTONA, was finally released, the game turned out to be a huge flop. Within just four days, developer Fntastic even had to announce the closure of its studio. Although the game has been removed from official sale, resellers are now experiencing a veritable gold rush with the game’s unused Steam keys.

Prices for The Day Before’s Steam keys have skyrocketed, reaching over $200 and up at authorized resellers like Green Man Gaming In fact, this value continues to rise. Interestingly, you can still activate, download, install and even play the product keys. And this despite Steam removing the game from the store after just a few days in Early Access due to its failure

Before its release, The Day Before was long considered the most wanted title on Valve’s game distribution platform (Steam) However, curious circumstances and mistrust from fans towards developer Fntastic increased. Accusations of possible plagiarism of successful titles such as The Division, Call of Duty, The Last of UsCyberpunk 2077 and GTA 5 contributed to the uncertainty. In addition, there was a trademark dispute that further complicated the situation. The published game content also did not live up to the promises. This led to a massive exodus of players. This also makes The Day Before one of the ten worst games of all time on Steam. Nevertheless, key sellers are now trying to capitalize on the failure and profit from the demand for Steam keys of the failed game
