The popular auto-shooter is bringing its dwarf-themed action—along with upcoming content updates—to additional consoles in just a few days.

Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is coming soon to PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Switch.

Following its successful release on PC, mobile devices, and Xbox, the game will expand to these new platforms next week. It will be available on PS5 starting October 7 and on Switch and Switch 2 starting October 9.

Car Shooter with Dwarf Power: New Content and Console Release

This spin-off of the popular co-op game is a Survivor-style auto-shooter. The developers are already planning new content, such as the Brawler class, the “Sandblasted Corridors” biome, and a high-risk mission with fresh objectives and a final boss.

You’ll have access to the full arsenal of weapons from Deep Rock Galactic. Use them to face off against aliens, mine resources, and unlock upgrades. The difference from the original is that here, a single dwarf takes on the entire planet Hoxxes.

One Dwarf Against All of Hoxxes: Procedural Caves and Top-Down Gameplay

“Hunt vermin, upgrade your gear, and venture deeper and deeper into the dangerous caves of Hoxxes,” the description reads. “Assemble a devastating arsenal of weapons and unleash hell on wave after wave of enemy monsters in fast-paced, perilous battles. Dig your own paths through the cave walls to collect valuable treasures. Thanks to procedurally generated caves and hordes of enemies, every mission is unique—just as you’re already familiar with from Deep Rock Galactic.”

The game is played from a top-down perspective, and if you’ve played the original, you’ll recognize plenty of familiar elements.

Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor originally launched in Early Access on February 14, 2024. It has been officially available on previously released platforms since September 17, 2025.
