Relic Entertainment delivers 15 historical missions from the Kasserine Pass to Hill 609 and lets players specialize their troops through an upgrade system.
Three and a half years after its release, the strategy game Company of Heroes 3 is getting its first campaign DLC.
This evening, Relic Entertainment announced the Operation Torch expansion, which will be released for PC on November 25, 2026.
Battlefield North Africa: From the Kasserine Pass to the Assault on Hill 609
15 tactical missions: Targeted troop upgrades via the progression system
A total of 15 missions await you, featuring different tactical scenarios, various units, and mechanics. The lineup includes beach landings, covert operations, defensive battles, and large-scale assaults.
With the progression system, you can customize your units throughout the campaign to suit your preferences. As you complete missions and achieve optional objectives, you’ll unlock upgrades. This lets you determine how your forces evolve.
The DLC’s storyline is based on Allied operations in Axis-occupied North Africa. You’ll take command of U.S. troops during their first major campaign against German forces. Your task is to mold an inexperienced army into a battle-hardened force through hard-fought victories and painful defeats in a series of authentically recreated missions.
“Operation Torch traces the Allied landings in North Africa in a dramatic narrative arc,” the studio emphasizes. “The story spans from the initial invasion through the defeat at Kasserine Pass to the final assault on Hill 609. Inspired by true events, the expansion transforms key historical moments into a focused single-player experience centered on tactical decisions and mastery of the battlefield.”
“You’ll experience the campaign through the eyes of three U.S. soldiers, whose stories shed light on the conflict from both command headquarters and the front lines. As the story unfolds, their experiences reflect the hardships, losses, and heavy responsibilities they faced. This allows you to experience firsthand how they grew into the formidable unit that would later liberate Europe.”
