A PC with four RTX 5090s is causing quite a stir. However, it was probably not built for gaming.
Most gamers would probably be more than happy with an RTX 5090. Many would also gladly accept an affordable RTX 5080 or 5070. But all of that is apparently not enough for this user. He bought four of the high-end graphics cards and built a real monster system out of them.
You can hardly see the PC for all the graphics cards
The user is “Zestyclose-Salad-290,” who posted the PC a few days ago in the r/pcmasterrace subreddit. He simply calls the system “Quadruple 5090 Battlestation,” but unfortunately doesn’t reveal what he actually plans to do with it.
The PC looks a bit like a server rack. The four Asus ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090s easily take up three-quarters of the space in the case. The second chamber houses the rest of the hardware and a second power supply.
This is probably sorely needed, as a single RTX 5090 can consume up to 600 watts. Together with the rest of the system, consumption could reach 3,000 watts.

We can only speculate about the price of the PC. However, since a single model of the built-in GPUs costs just under 3,000 euros, you can roughly calculate how long you would have to save up for it.
In the comments, there is a lot of praise for the build, but the question often arises as to why you would even need such a PC. For example, user “Cocogoat_Main” asks jokingly:
What are you rendering? Another universe?
Another user adds that there is finally a PC that can run Borderlands 4 at a stable 60 FPS. However, only in 480p, as another user adds.
The system is unlikely to have been put together for gaming, as that would simply be completely excessive and not particularly efficient. The comments therefore speculate that the PC could be used for extensive AI calculations. What the player ultimately needs four RTX 5090 graphics cards for remains his secret.
