The streamer Amouranth is investing in a company again. This time it’s the famous video game giant Activision Blizzard, which is in the midst of a lawsuit.

Streamer Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa has risen to become one of the biggest internet personalities in the past two years and is making a killing. Amouranth has been investing her money in new businesses more often lately. The polarising Twitch streamer announced via Twitter on Monday that she had invested almost two million US dollars in Activision Blizzard.

With the purchase, Amouranth hopes to have gotten a lucrative investment on the cheap. Recently, Activision-Blizzard has been the subject of several media reports in recent months due to sexual discrimination claims. The company is alleged to have behaved in a sexist and discriminatory manner towards women.

Because of this, Activision Blizzard’s shares are also suffering massively and have been falling ever since, as well as the company’s Imagine has taken a severe hit. In addition, Microsoft announced at the beginning of the year that it wanted to buy Activision-Blizzard for 70 billion US dollars. The streamer is also hoping for this deal. After all, with the takeover, the shares could rise again and yield profits. However, this deal has not yet been fully completed and sealed. In total, the US-American has bought 24,000 shares at a price of almost 80 dollars each.

In addition, Amouranth sets another target for the deal. In World of Warcraft some time ago, graphics with women were covered up or even completely changed into fruit baskets. This was supposed to tone down the sexuality in the game. The streamer wants to take action against this and make the objects in the pictures become women again. To do this, she wants to strive for a board that does not only see women as objects.
