The cinematic intro heralds Season 6 of Call of Duty: Warzone and Cold War – probably the last season in which the two games are directly linked. Because on 5 November 2021, CoD Vanguard will be released and replace Cold War, bringing a new map and anti-cheat to the Battle Royale, for example.
But before that, a grand finale seems to be rolling up in Verdansk. The stadium will be blown up, which is guaranteed to have an effect on the map. Maybe even the whole of Verdansk will be destroyed at the end of the season? The starting shot will be fired on 7 October 2021, as the video at the very end reveals.
