A new leak shows the Rush mode, reminding fans of Call of Duty – but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Battlefield 6 remains shrouded in mystery: hardly any official details, but tons of leaks. A new video shows the return of Rush mode, and many are reminded of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare from 2019 – in both a positive and negative way.
Leak confirms Rush’s return
Since Battlefield: Bad Company Rush has been a staple of the main series’ game modes, so it’s no surprise that the next installment in the series will also feature the mode.
In a Reddit post, a complete match lasting around 18 minutes is being discussed, although the video has since been taken offline. The leak came via the Chinese video platform Bilibili.
What is Rush again? In this game mode, teams are divided into attackers and defenders. One team must attack a target while the other tries to prevent them from doing so.
In comparison, in Conquest, both sides try to capture and hold as many flag points as possible. There is no “clear front line” as in Rush.

The comparison with Modern Warfare
The Reddit post mentioned above discusses the leak at length, including comparisons with MW19.
In one of the top comments, Taransit_Hub why every new leak looks more and more like MW19. In the responses, many users note that, in their opinion, it is one of the best CoDs and therefore a positive comparison.
From a visual standpoint and also in terms of the level of detail, modemcudi that BF6 is allowed to have something from MW19. For CalligrapherWild2287 The combination of CoD and Battlefield sounds like ”perfection.”
But not all fans see it that way. One problem many have is the higher movement speed, just like in Call of Duty, which can be seen in the leak.
Spirited_Climate_235 notes that you don’t run with 20 to 45 kilos of equipment like a sprinter at the Olympics. What’s missing here is the more grounded and “realistic” approach of Battlefield. So far, opinions on Battlefield 6 are based solely on leaks from the community test program, so it’s hard to say at this point how much the game will feel like Call of Duty. EA and Dice plan to unveil the latest installment in the Battlefield series in the summer of 2025. However, there is no exact date yet.
