Glass Cannon Unplugged is launching its campaign on Gamefound in 2027. An early prototype will be available to try out at the developers’ booth at SPIEL in Essen.
Glass Cannon Unplugged has announced Diablo: Unbound, a cooperative dungeon-battler board game for one to four players.
The project is set to be funded via a crowdfunding campaign on Gamefound. You can already follow the game there, with the campaign scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2027.
Hex Grid, Loot, and Card Decks: First Gameplay Details
You’ll take to the field with familiar classes like the Barbarian or the Huntress, level up your hero, equip them with loot, and face off against notorious monsters in iconic locations to ultimately defeat the dungeon boss.
While there aren’t many concrete details yet, a first trailer offers early insights and showcases miniatures, various player boards, and the character system. The game board also reveals that you’ll face off against enemy hordes on a hex grid.
Apparently, there are individual slots for armor pieces, while special abilities and actions are tied to a separate card deck.
Prototype at SPIEL in Essen: Developers Bring Extensive Licensing Experience

Glass Cannon Unplugged has previously been responsible for the tabletop adaptations of Don’t Starve, Dying Light, and Apex Legends.
