The Blood Ravens and Dark Angels are joining the PC strategy game. Read all about the playable chapters, their heroes, and the post-launch plans here.
The fourth and final faction trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 introduces the two playable Space Marine chapters: the Blood Ravens and the Dark Angels.
“The Space Marines rely on steady expansion and powerful shock attacks to crush enemy forces,” the trailer states. “As elite units, they are powerful but outnumbered compared to the hordes of xenos. To maintain their advantage, they must rely on careful positioning and tactical flexibility.”
The Blood Ravens, meanwhile, focus on reconnaissance, infiltration, and precision. They operate behind enemy lines, gather intelligence, and exploit vulnerabilities.
Leaders on the Front Lines: Cyrus and Astoran in Action
The Space Marines are led by Captain Cyrus (Blood Ravens) and Company Commander Astoran (Dark Angels): “While Cyrus specializes in stealth, marksmanship, and well-timed airstrikes, Astoran leads his troops on the front lines—his powerful Terminator armor makes him nearly unstoppable.”
The developers also explain: “Overrun the battlefield with a storm of drop pods. Channel your rage into devastating bombardments from orbit. Command humanity’s greatest warriors and its last hope in the fight against the encroaching darkness.”
