Starting now, you can put your skills to the test in brand-new PvE challenges. You can also look forward to new playstyles and a revamped design.

To celebrate the third anniversary of EA Sports FC Mobile, a brand-new update is now available, introducing several fresh features.

The highlight is Gauntlet Mode, a PvE experience designed to test the depth of your club and have you complete a series of matches.

“The fact that individual pros can only be used a limited number of times requires a greater focus on sensible rotation within the team,” the developers say. “Meanwhile, different objectives and game modifiers encourage players to think strategically about the lineup they use to tackle each challenge.”

Tactical Depth and Community Celebration: Here’s What Game Plans and the Anniversary Event Have to Offer

Also being introduced are “Game Plans,” which are designed to give you more tactical control before and after matches. This allows you to create up to four formation combinations and five mentalities and switch between them during a match.

The new season kicks off alongside the FC Mobile Anniversary Event, a month-long, community-focused celebration. The event brings back gameplay features from last year, including upgrades for the “Team of the Year” (TOTY), tag combinations for the “Team of the Season” (TOTS), and the Bernabéu Stadium. Across ten different chapters, you can relive familiar FC Mobile events, build your team, and earn rewards.

New Playstyles and a Fresh Design: What’s Changing On and Off the Field

Additionally, two new playstyles are being introduced: “Precise Through Ball” and “Set Piece.” The former offers more accurate, forward-thinking through balls, while the latter enables free kicks with more spin and precision for players with the appropriate attributes.

EA also writes: “The refreshed visual experience gives the new season of FC Mobile a new look and feel that enhances the presentation of the matches—from the gameplay HUD and loading screens to player displays and other elements throughout the game.”
