The mobile game is showcasing new gameplay and playable characters at the event. It has also already surpassed five million pre-registrations.
TiMi Studio Group released the latest trailer for the upcoming mobile game Monster Hunter Outlanders during the Tokyo Game Show.
This trailer offers the first glimpse of a hunting scene featuring Ruger Aidal, the Elder Dragon developed specifically for the game. You’ll also get to see the newly revealed playable protagonist—the adventurer Haze.
Crystal Swords and Fresh Gameplay: The Battle Against Ruger Aidal
The battle against the Dragon Elder shows you, among other things, the golden crystals covering his body. As adventurers face him in combat, Aidal uses the crystals like swords.
“The trailer also showcases brand-new, never-before-seen gameplay, including the new dual-wielding adventurer Haze hunting the Giant Girros; the protagonist facing off against Azure Rathalos with a hammer; the greatsword-wielding Freya, who challenges Rathalos with one of Aesoland’s native Buddies by her side; as well as scenes in which the various regions of Aesoland are explored, making use of crafting features such as the ‘Gliding Challenge’ and ‘Wind Platform,’” the statement reads. “Attentive fans can also spot new radiant monsters making their debut in this brand-new trailer.”
5 million pre-registrations reached: These milestone rewards await
Pre-registration for the game on the App Store and Google Play is still open—according to the developer studio, more than five million people have already registered. When certain milestones are reached, you’ll receive the following rewards:
