About 10 to 11 hours after release, there was a 770 MB update that finally placed the game files in the directory! The game works now… But I’m still sticking with my negative review for this launch. Sorry, Heroes 3—it’s not your fault; you’re a great game…
Currently, 65 percent of the mere 28 reviews on the Steam page are negative, so the situation isn’t quite as dramatic as it initially sounds. Ubisoft quickly fixed the download error and granted buyers access to the game.
