At the annual Disney fan event D23 2026, we finally got to see some new footage from the highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts 4. In the extended trailer, which you can watch above, not only was the first Disney world (Coco) revealed, but we also learned that we’ll apparently be able to play as Donald, Goofy, and even King Mickey in some sections.
While there isn’t a fixed release date yet, there is at least a release window: late 2027. And it will launch simultaneously on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Unlike Kingdom Hearts 3, this time there will be no delayed PC release or store exclusivity.
