Paralives was originally announced in June 2019, so it’s been in development for a while. The indie project was initially funded via Patreon and has always sought to stay close to the life sim community.
The extensive feedback also led to some creative new features in the game, based on fan requests. For example, characters, furniture, and houses can be customized very fluidly down to the smallest detail, and an open-world city to explore is also part of the game.
