We really don’t have to wait too long for season 3 of One Piece. Netflix has just officially confirmed that Ruffy’s Straw Hat Pirates will reach Vivi’s homeland next year.

We’re not even going to dwell on it: Netflix has just officially confirmed (viaTudum) thatSeason 3 of the live-action adaptation of One Piece will be released in 2027!

.

There is no specific date, but at least we can be sure that the new episodes won’t be too long in coming. Up until now, fans could certainly hope for a release next year; after all, filming has been underway in South Africa’s Cape Town since November 2025 and is set to continue until June 2026.

This would make it realistic forSeason 3 of One Pieceto be released on Netflix by fall 2027.

That sounds very promising! In the current series landscape, it is anything but a matter of course that new seasons are less than two to three years away. Productions such asAmazon’s Falloutor now One Piece from Netflix are definitely welcome exceptions to this rule.
