Developer Embark Studios wants to ensure that Arc Raiders respects your time. That’s why crafting is now faster and less complicated.
Crafting is an important part of the extraction shooterArc Raiders. You can craft new weapons, equipment or consumables from the raw materials you collect. However, this currently still works in a very cumbersome way, with found items being broken down into their individual parts and reassembled via several additional menu clicks.
Developer Embark Studios realizes that thisis far too cumbersome for a regular activity. That’s why a new update is now adapting the crafting process in the game, as arecent blog entryannounces.
Instead of having to painstakingly disassemble everything and gather the ingredients yourself, you will now receive a hint directly in the workshop. If you are in the process of crafting something there but do not meet all the requirements, afrom now onGet resources
button will appear.

Easy crafting instead of troublesome searching
If you click on it, it will list where you can get which material – for example, whether you can recycle it from your inventory or buy it from a merchant. At least in theory. Because Embark makes it clear that you can’t magically beam every raw material to your workbench with it.
The hint merely makes the production process easier, because you always know immediately what you can procure and where.Once you have the right ingredients to hand, you can get started straight away. This shouldn’t solve all the pain points with crafting – something that the developers are aware of – but it should at least make things a little easier. They want to keep at it and listen to feedback.
Recently, theFlashpoint updatealso released a major patch that brought further comfort, balance and gameplay improvements.
The multiplayer extraction shooter continues to enjoy great popularity. You fight your way across the surface of an apocalyptic Earth that is now ruled by hostile machines. Arc Raiders has been available for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series since October 2025.
