You don’t have to like playing pilot to have fun with Flight Simulator 2024.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has dozens of aircraft up its sleeve, including helicopters and even hot air balloons. None of this interests X-user Untitled Horror Game (who is currently developing an unnamed horror game).
Instead of taking off, he enjoys the flight simulation from the ground.
And with good reason: Flight Simulator is also beautiful up close – in the right places! The wonderful forest and mountain landscapes are also ideal for hiking simulations, as he shows with pictures and videos in his post:
I love MS Flight Simulator 2024 for all the wrong reasons lmao. Walking around the mountains near Index, Washington. pic.twitter.com/zmxbXlXliu

, but in the comments, there are many like-minded people who simply enjoy walking through beautiful worlds and ignore the actual game and gameplay. The 27,000 likes and over a million views speak volumes, of course.
As Ari Drennen writes: Oh my God, I have to buy it right now.
The Notorious also admits to playing the game: I think I’ve found my people. I’m someone who likes to run around New York City in Spider-Man… and I had no idea you could do that in Flight Simulator, I’m definitely going to get it.
However, it should be noted that Microsoft Flight Simulator does not depict cities in great detail and is not at all comparable to Spider-Man. There are no pedestrians walking around, and the cars and skyscrapers lack any detail. But when it comes to nature, Flight Simulator definitely shines!
Which games do you like to walk around in and ignore the rest of the game? Open-world titles like The Witcher 3 or Red Dead Redemption 2 are particularly suitable for this, of course, but maybe there are even more unusual games? Feel free to write your favorite walking games in the comments!
