Forza Horizon 6 has kept its release date a secret so far, but a leak in its predecessor sheds some light on the matter.
Forza Horizon 6 is making a dream come true that many fans have had for 10 years: finally getting to race in Japan.
And thanks to a leak, we now know the release date: May 19, 2026. But it’s important to note that this is still unconfirmed information. this information is still unconfirmed.
According to Twitter user @XBOXF10, the leak ironically comes from the predecessor to Forza Horizon 6: in the fifth installment of the series, he or she apparently came across a pop-up that was published prematurely, promoting the new trip to Japan. Or, more specifically, its pre-order. The pop-up literally says:

If the leak is correct, then Forza Horizon 6 is sticking to a blockbuster trend that most other big titles will have already left behind in 2025: so-called advanced access, i.e., early access to the game if you shell out the estimated $100+ for the most expensive version of a game.
After all, there are worse horses to bet on as a pre-orderer, after all, almost every installment in the series since Forza Horizon 3 has cracked the 90s rating mark for us.
On the other hand, the same was true for the other Forza brand, Forza Motorsport – and there, the latest Forza Motorsport greatly disappointed many people upon release. So, as always, we advise caution when pre-ordering. And we also advise caution regarding the leak itself: even if the pop-up looks credible, you should treat the information with a grain of salt, as there is still no official confirmation from Microsoft. As soon as we have it, we will of course let you know.
