“I only realized it was Minecraft when I zoomed in” – player builds a cyberpunk world that leaves users speechless

Seeing this cyberpunk masterpiece in Minecraft almost makes you wish there was an entire game in this style.

After 17 years, Minecraft and, above all, its community continue to impress. One player has once again pushed the sandbox world to its limits and built a cyberpunk setting that looks so good that some users think it’s the work of AI.

Reddit user Deltagon was clearly inspired by Japanese cyberpunk, as evidenced by the roofs of the mega-complex. To add the finishing touches, he spruced up his building a little in Blender and added neon signs. The builder shared the before and after images on imgur.

The community is thrilled

18,000 upvotes already show a clear picture of the mood, but in the comments on the Reddit post, Deltagon is praised even more highly. For example, Rick_grin: I had to zoom in to realize it was Minecraft. Amazing work!

Also RoadHazard is always totally thrilled by the completely absurd things people create in Minecraft.

But not everyone has such kind words; some users who have not engaged with the creator any further accuse him of using AI. However, some see the accusations as a sign of praise, as Snickeeeeers80: This guy is so good that no one believes it’s a real build.

But he built it by hand, as he writes in the comments. It took him a few hundred hours to complete the final product. However, playing Minecraft in it as normal isn’t that easy. It was only built for a cool render scene, not to play in, according to Deltagon.
