Universe for Sale probably doesn’t mean anything to most people. But if you want to visit tea houses on Jupiter, you shouldn’t miss out on the current Epic promotion.

Update from December 4, 2025: The current Epic promotion ends today! Yes, it’s already Thursday again, and you only have a few hours left (until 4:59 p.m.) to secure the current gift and keep it permanently. After that, the offer will change again—and Epic’s usual Advent calendar should also be getting closer.

Original message: A rainy little town. Wet streets illuminated by warm, glowing windows. Somewhere, a mechanic is hammering away at parts, while aromatic smoke rises above a tea shop. This scenario is actually anything but unusual – but in the new Epic free game, it takes place on Jupiter. Okay, on a space station in its orbit, but let’s not get too technical about it.

Who will benefit from this week’s free promotion? Let’s take a closer look at the free game. This time, it’s an insider tip for all story fans.

Universe for Sale

  • Genre: Adventure / Visual Novel
  • Developer: Tmesis Studio
  • Release: November 16, 2023

Can you create an entire universe in a coffee cup? At a Jupiter bazaar of the future, you can. It’s not the only curiosity on the space station, which is inhabited by humans, orangutans, robots, and skeletons. The worldbuilding in Universe for Sale is surprisingly profound – it’s just a shame that we don’t get to see much of this fascinating world.

In the style of a visual novel and a point-and-click adventure, we engage in conversations and explore simple levels. Mini-games also add variety, but the gaming experience is clearly driven by the story. On Steam, this is enough for a strong 94 percent positive user reviews, but there are only 94 reviews in total.

Opinions differ on the ending, but that’s perfect for a game that you can get for free – if you don’t like it at the very end, you haven’t lost any money. Universe for Sale doesn’t take up too much of your time either; you can get through it in five hours. Wonderful entertainment for a cold winter evening or the holidays!

You can find more game tips in the linked articles above. And there should be more free games coming soon when Epic launches its Advent calendar, as it has done in previous years – then there will be a new offer every 24 hours, sometimes with surprisingly big game names. We’ll keep you up to date.
