With Post Malone’s Murder Circus: Encore, Hunt Showdown is announcing the comeback of a hotly debated event. During the Christmas season, the crossover with singer Post Malone in the role of director of a demonic hell circus is set to take place once again – including some new features.
For example, the infamous Shredder weapon has been revamped, and new story challenges offer lore tidbits and rewards. At the same time, the major 2.6 update introduces a few other mechanics to the bounty hunt. Crytek promises new in-game activities, skins, and items, for example.
Post Malone’s Murder Circus was heavily criticized when it was originally released in 2024 because fans were skeptical about the integration of a celebrity into the game.
At the same time, the actual content was well received: the horror circus tent with its new game mechanics, enemy types, and rewards quickly became the focal point of matches and led to an upturn in player numbers.
