Game Awards: All nominations for Game of the Year 2025 have been announced, and one game is already sweeping the board

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has received by far the most nominations. This time, two indie games are also in the running for the coveted GOTY title.

Geoff Keighley has lifted the curtain and announced all the nominees for the Game Awards 2025. The most important question now, of course, is: Which title will be Game of the Year? But awards in other categories are also highly coveted by development studios. Anyone who wants to can now (until December 10) vote on the  official website until December 10.

This year, there is a clear favorite among the jury – no other game comes close to the number of nominations received by Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, even though Ghost of Yotei is also a very strong contender. 

We’ll list the most important categories for you. First, Geoff himself will present the six games that could become GOTY:

      All categories and nominees can be found on the official website – which is currently overloaded because too many people want to vote at the same time. However, this should be resolved by the end of voting on December 10.

        The Game Awards ceremony—hosted, of course, by Geoff Keighley—will take place on December 12, 2025.
