The shooting range in Battlefield 6 consists of just one room? Think again: behind a door that is normally locked, there is another room with no clear purpose.

With Battlefield 6, the shooter series has gotten a shooting range for the first time, a simple feature for quickly testing weapons. However, the unspectacular room hides a secret that one player has now discovered. Behind a door that is actually locked, there is a second room.

Who needs doors?

A Reddit account named Mobile_Cyberdemon_as posted a video of how to get into the room. After a few attempts, he lies down while standing on a trash can and then slides backwards through the wall into the second room:

There isn’t much to see there: in addition to a few shelves, tables, and lockers, there are some small items, boxes, and helmets lying around. It is significantly more spacious than the shooting range, and there appears to be some kind of window, even though it is not possible to see what is on the other side.

Of course, there is already speculation on Reddit about what the hidden room could be. BossasaurusX writes:

It looks like a garage, and maybe you can see outside through the glass? Maybe it’s supposed to be the vehicle section of the shooting range. Cool find!

In Battlefield 6, you can test handguns, but air and ground vehicles have not been given a test area. However, many players would like to see such a feature so they can practice using helicopters, for example. Therefore, it would not be unlikely that the developers are planning such a feature for the future or wanted to integrate it earlier.

Guardians_Reprise has another theory, which is not entirely serious:

This is where you start the quest to get the Phantom Bow!

Many previous Battlefield games featured elaborate and well-hidden Easter eggs and secret quests. Sometimes it was just a matter of finding a Primeval Tide or dancing crabs In other cases, there were even special rewards. In Battlefield 4, for example, we were able to unlock the Phantom Bow, a unique weapon that could be equipped with different arrows.

However, it seems very unlikely that Battlefield 6 has a hidden Easter egg that can only be accessed through a glitch. Furthermore, there is nothing in the hidden room that looks like an Easter egg.

Why the room exists will probably remain a mystery. The most likely explanation is that it is the remnants of a planned feature. Either we were supposed to be able to switch to vehicles and the training ground here, or perhaps simply exchange and customize our weapons.
