A new build transforms the initially unpopular hero Amon from Borderlands 4 into a killing machine that instantly defeats even the toughest bosses with over a billion damage.

The longer Borderlands 4 is out, the more powerful builds the community discovers for the new Vault Hunters. Well-known Borderlands YouTuber Moxsy has now introduced a skill combination for the new character Amon that pushes the damage potential of the Forge Knight to absurd heights.

With the setup shown, you can break through the barrier of one billion damage points.

How the One Punch Man Build Works

The idea behind the build is a clever combination of Amon’s melee abilities and massive Cryo damage. The enormous damage output is achieved through an exponential increase based on the “Berserker” ability and the ‘Groundbreaker’ specialization.

When you activate Amon’s Berserker ability, you receive a bonus to Cryo damage. The key trick then lies in the “There Is Only Red” ability:
It allows you to extend and stack the duration of the Berserker state—and thus also the Cryo bonus—by making kills.
Thanks to the “Might Touches Death” skill, these kill skills can also be triggered by melee hits, allowing for uninterrupted damage increase in the fray.

The “Groundbreaker” specialization is the actual multiplier for your damage: It stores all damage caused that does not come from melee combat (in this case, the stacked Cryo bonus) and unleashes it as additional kinetic damage during your next melee attack.

This creates a feedback loop that causes your damage to escalate with each strike.

In his video, Moxsy points out that this extreme value is mainly achieved in longer fights against bosses or badass enemies, as the damage has to build up first. However, if you build up the buff continuously, you can achieve absurd damage values of up to a billion damage per strike.

You can see the exact skill build and recommended equipment for the Amon build in Moxsy’s video. Both can be found at around 5:20 minutes.
