It’s hard to believe, but the long-awaited horror game Routine is actually set to be released this year. Developer Lunar Software announced this at gamescom with a new trailer.

What the game is about: As a brave cosmonaut, you trudge through an abandoned moon base that echoes the flair of 80s sci-fi movies. Similar to the films of yesteryear, however, things are anything but cozy here. Because, of course, you are not alone. You are being pursued by creepy creatures that you must hide from or defend yourself against. For the latter, you have the so-called cosmonaut toolkit at your disposal, which you can also use to hack terminals.

Routine will be released in the fourth quarter of 2025 on PC and Xbox, and will also be included in Game Pass.
