Five Nights at Freddy’s started out as a modest indie phenomenon, but has long since become an integral part of the video game world. Not only that, but the diabolical animatronics are now conquering the big screen with great success: after Part 1 grossed almost $300 million worldwide (on a budget of only $20 million), the direct sequel will follow on December 4, 2025.

A first trailer has now been released, which is sure to delight fans. The new video game adaptation is brimming with references and Easter eggs to the original, which are already being eagerly discussed and speculated about.
