Many gamers have already had the chance to test the new Battlefield in recent months, with gameplay footage leaking out repeatedly. Now the shooter is finally being officially unveiled.

Although we already know a lot about Battlefield 6, such as the official name, release period, gameplay details, and some game modes, an official unveiling of the game is still pending. But the official Battlefield channels have now announced exactly that, and we won’t have to wait much longer.

When does it start?

The first real trailer for Battlefield 6 will be released on July 24, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. The YouTube premiereis scheduled for 4:57 p.m., so the video will probably be about three minutes long. However, it is not yet known whether gameplay scenes will be shown, as EA has been tight-lipped about this so far.

However, the trailer is probably just the first step in a large-scale reveal. Trusted insiders such as Tom Henderson claim to know about a major Battlefield event taking place on July 31, modeled on a COD Next event. It’s quite possible that gameplay and perhaps even Battle Royale will be shown there.

However, an open beta has already been officially confirmed, which all interested fans can participate in. There is no start date yet, but data miners have discovered clues in the EA app that the beta could start as early as August 4.

Trailer, event, and open beta: After that, all that remains is the release of Battlefield 6. Currently, there is speculation that the shooter will be released in the fall, similar to its predecessors, around November 2025. EA itself has already confirmed to investors that the title will be released in March 2026 at the latest.

The publisher’s expectations for Battlefield 6 are huge, but fans are very skeptical after the failure of Battlefield 2042. Whether both sides will be happy in the end will only become clear when the game is released.
