Na`Vi’s top player s1mple is widely regarded as one of the best CS:GO players ever. His organisation is releasing a documentary on the Ukrainian in August.
CS:GO legend Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev is the protagonist of a documentary produced by his organisation Natus Vincere. The film is to be released for free on Na`Vi’s YouTube channel in August. Na`Vi wants to sell a sequel to Netflix and would then only be accessible to paying subscribers of the streaming service. The occasion for the documentary is the fifth anniversary of the 23-year-old Ukrainian, who signed his contract with the Russian organisation on 4 August 2016.
Together with Na`Vi, s1mple won a total of 13 CS:GO titles, including several ESL One tournaments as well as the Intel Extreme Masters Season XIV 2020 in Katowice and the IEM Cologne this year.
Starting 20 and already a legend
The documentary called “s1mple Formula” will deal with the CS:GO career of the Ukrainian. He entered esports at the age of 15 with Team LAN DODGERS – later Amazing Gaming – and became known for his above-average performances at events like StarSeries IX. A year later, s1mple made his first international waves at DreamHack in Winter 2014 with Team HellRaisers.

Top Russian organisation Natus Vincere poached the pro in August 2016 and together they collected over a dozen high-profile titles. At Na`Vi, s1mple repeatedly showed outstanding performances as an AWP player. After five successful years, the now 23-year-old therefore receives the documentation dedicated to him.
