After Blizzard fueled the rumor mill with teasers in the past few days, the developer today officially announced the newest hero for Overwatch: Echo.

Ateast since 2018
The first references to Echo were actually made two years ago in the short film “Reunion”. Now the robot is finally revealed as a new character and will be playable in Overwatch soon.

Only a few details about the new addition are still known, so we don’t know yet which role Echo will play and also the abilities are still unknown. Maybe we’ll know more by Thursday, if Blizzard already updates the test servers with the new hero.

What do you think about the new hero? Tell us via social media!
