Twitch streamer “TomPhantasy” breaks the world record in Call of Duty’s Zombies mode with 300 hours of gameplay.

The Twitch streamer “TomPhantasy” broke the world record in Call of Duty’s Zombies mode on Thursday. To do so, the Irish gamer used the “Night of the Undead” zombies version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

TomPhantasy needed over 20 days to beat the old record by 40 rounds. The new record is now 255 laps. The previous record was 216 laps and was held by the Japanese “Chihiro-516”

TomPhantasy started his record attempt on 2 July. In the following 20 days, the new record holder put 300 hours of play on the virtual floor. During this time, the zombies only knocked him down twice before the record of 255 rounds appeared on the overlay of the Twitch stream.

To set the record, the Irishman played CoD mode for 13 hours a day. Now the gauntlet lies with the rest of the Call of Duty community to attempt another record.
