You can currently pick up two games for free in the Epic Games Store. Choose between the single-player shooter Deathloop and the adventure game Ogu and the Secret Forest.
After last week’s great gift for shooter fans with Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Epic is continuing the fun with more action.
Starting now and until June 12 at 5:00 p.m., you can pick up Deathloop, the time-loop shooter from the developers of Dishonored, for free. The adventure Obu and the Secret Forest is also available for free. We’ll give you a quick overview of both games. As always, all you need is a free Epic Games account to claim your free games.

In Deathloop, you are a contract killer named Colt who is stranded on a deserted island and trapped in a time loop that forces you to relive the same day over and over again. However, you are not completely alone. In addition to your not-so-friendly colleague Julianna, there are other mysterious figures roaming the island that you must eliminate in order to escape the time prison.
You’ll only find out who you are, how you ended up here, and what’s behind the time loop as the story progresses. The big challenge in Deathloop is to complete all eight objectives in one day. If you don’t make it, or die trying, the day resets and you start over.
Who is this game for?You’ll have the most fun with Deathloop if you enjoy puzzles and exploration. If you take the time to look around, you’ll gradually piece together the story and understand much more than someone who just blasts their way through. Also, don’t expect Dishonored with guns, because Deathloop works very differently from Arcane’s previous titles.
What is Ogu and the secret forest?

If Deathloop sounds too exhausting, you might prefer Obu and the Secret Forest. In this 2D adventure, you play as the eponymous bird Obu and explore a large world full of secrets and puzzles. Along the way, you’ll make friends with other characters and defeat boss enemies. You’ll also find new hats for Obu that not only look cool, but also grant special abilities.
