In addition to the licensed teams from the top tier of motorsport, you can also enter your own team for the first time – from the color scheme of the car to the last sponsor logo on the racing suit, everything is in your hands.
A particularly exciting new feature is the mentality system: drivers and team members now have their own personalities and expectations, which have a direct impact on performance. If you neglect the satisfaction of your crew, motivation will suffer – and that can cost valuable seconds at the crucial moment. What this means for you is that in addition to technical development, contract negotiations and budget management, you now also have to keep an eye on human factors.
Of course, the core element of the game, the real-time racing action, has not been left untouched either.: Thanks to a revised AI, the races should now feel more alive than ever. Opposing teams will react more intelligently to strategy changes, pit stop windows and changing weather conditions, so you won’t be able to let a single lap run on autopilot.
