This weekend, five games are free. Strategy and shooter fans in particular should take a look.

On the weekend of November 15-18, 2024, Steam will once again offer you a range of free games that you can try out for a few days. Particularly exciting is the strategy game Millennia, which takes you on a journey through 10,000 years of human history. Highlight of the week: Millennia.

(Genre: 4X-Rundenstrategie – Entwickler: C Prompt Games – Kostenlos spielbar bis: 18. November (Steam)

In;Millennia;take control of a nation and lead it from the dawn of civilization to the distant future. Starting in the Stone Age, you will develop technologies, build mighty cities, and face historical challenges.

What makes Millennia special is the dynamic age system: Depending on your decisions, history can develop completely differently. Will your civilization enter a golden era of progress or fall into dark times of crisis?

In addition to classic city-building and resource management, you can customize your social system, forge alliances, and wage war – or try to achieve a peaceful victory through cultural achievements.

During the free weekend, you can test the full game and see if it meets your strategic needs. Millennia is also currently available at a 50 percent discount if you want to add the game to your collection in the long term.
