Crowbar Collective is the name of the group of Half-Life fans who have created what is arguably one of the best fan remakes of all time. Black Mesa is so good that it is now available as a standalone game on Steam. In the meantime, the fan group has become a real development team, and their first game, Rogue Point, is scheduled to be released as early as next year. As you would expect from Half-Life fans, their new game will also be a first-person shooter. However, it is unclear whether there will be a crowbar again.

Rogue Point is a co-op shooter in which you and up to three friends take on the role of an independent group of mercenaries to take on the mercenary troops of a few unscrupulous corporations squabbling over the legacy of the world’s richest CEO. The campaign takes you on various missions where you’ll meet mercenaries who behave very differently depending on their class. Although there are only four areas to fight in during Early Access, a randomization system should provide some variety.

The money you earn is used to buy new equipment, which, in addition to 22 weapons, also includes skins, tactical devices, and attachments for your shooting iron. The shooter is scheduled to go into early access in 2025, and the trailer gives you a first taste.
