Epic Games has released a video introducing the new features of Unreal Engine 5.5. The new version is available now.
Unreal Engine 5 is considered one of the most important game engines and promises almost photorealistic results with comparatively simple operation. Version 5.5 has now been released, which again brings some improvements:
– Countless optimizations for animations for better results and easier workflows
– Realistic facial animations using only an audio file
– More rendering options
– The Substrate material creation framework enters beta
– Movie Render Graph (MRG) enters beta
– Better mobile device support
In addition, there are of course many other adjustments that should make the engine even more powerful and accessible.
