In the past week, numerous gaming companies have held showcases to present their upcoming titles. Now Nintendo is also joining this list and is holding a new edition of the Nintendo Direct this afternoon. The Japanese gaming company already made a clear statement during the announcement.

For some time now, the gaming community has been puzzling over when the latest edition of the Nintendo Direct will finally take place. Yesterday afternoon there was finally a clear announcement. Today,on June 18 at 4 pmyou can attend the showcase forabout 40 minutes
The event will be broadcast via theofficial websiteor via theYouTube channel

In yesterday’s announcement, Nintendo already had clear words about the Direct and stated that there would be no information about a “possible Switch successor”. Instead, the focus is on games that will be released later this year

Since onlyLuigi’s Mansion 2 HDhas been announced in terms of in-house games, the showcase should hold some news. We might even get a new insight into Pokémon legends: Z-Adonated. However, as the title is not due to be released until next year, an appearance seems rather unlikely.

However, new information on some third-party titles cannot be ruled out. For example, new information onLEGO Horizon AdventuresandHarry Potter Quidditch Championscould be revealed during the Nintendo Direct. News on both titles was revealed last week. The recently announcedLife is Strange: Double Exposurecould perhaps also be mentioned. The adventure game continues the story of Max Caulfield, who has now grown up, and allows her special abilities to be used once again.
