The survival game Enshrouded has already attracted 2 million players. With their help, the next big step is now to be taken.

Not even a month after the Early Access launch on Steam, the German studio Keen Games has announced that it has cracked the 2 million player mark with  Enshrouded. But the company is not resting on its laurels; new features and content are already being planned, and players are invited to give their feedback.

Enshrouded reaches 2 million players on Steam

In a press release, Keen Games announces the new record. The studio’s CEO Jan Jöckel explains:

“We are still overwhelmed by the success and positive feedback for Enshrouded. We can’t thank our players enough and will be working hard to deliver new content and features as soon as possible. “

In the first few weeks after the Early Access release, there have already been numerous hotfixes and a major patch. The changes were largely aimed at improving performance and stability, and various bugs were also fixed.

Community can contribute ideas

Kenn Games is trying to gather as much feedback as possible from players for upcoming content. There is a dedicated website where the community can make suggestions and vote for them

The most requested feature is already in the works for an upcoming update. Players wanted quest progress in co-op games to be recorded individually for each player and not for the entire server

More suggestions:

  • A weather system
  • Own skill system for crafting, such as leveling in logging, mining or cooking
  • Water: Flowing and standing water, which also provides more aesthetics for base building
  • Farm animals that can be bred
  • Optional raids against your own base

The list of ideas goes on and on, a few are already marked as “in planning”, a few have even already been implemented.

You can contribute your own ideas via the website. Do you have any suggestions as to what content and features Enshrouded is still missing? What do you think of the ones already made? Feel free to write your opinion in the comments
