One year ago, Hogwarts Legacy was released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. Games are celebrating this anniversary with a look back at the production process and some interesting statistics

In February 2023, the lengthy development process for Hogwarts Legacy had finally come to an end. After the title was first released for PC and current-gen consoles, it was released on last-gen consoles in May. The Nintendo Switch version brought up the rear, not appearing until November. Last Sunday, Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. Games looked back on the major project by releasing a developer blooper video. In it we can see all the tanks that were created during development

Less amusing, but still highly interesting, are the statistics that were also revealed for Hogwarts Legacy. One statistic shows that the majority of the community (30%) chose Slytherin House. This is followed by Gryffindor (29%), then Hufflepuff (24%) and finally Ravenclaw (17%).
During their 740 million hours in the game 51 million have been spent on the broom. In addition, the community has used the fast travel option  3.05 billion times

We are now eagerly awaiting when Warner Bros. Games will unveil the second part of Hogwarts Legacy. Considering how long we’ve been waiting for Part 1, it’s likely to be a while yet. Until then, we can hopefully sweeten the time with the upcoming Quidditch title
