This will protect your Switch from damage caused by water. But customers complain – “Then make it easier for us to turn the Switch off completely!”

Nintendo warns against condensation in your consoles. If you expose the console to large temperature fluctuations, water droplets may form inside the case.

How can this happen with the Switch?

When you take your console out of your 25-degree apartment into the fresh air or cold car in the fall or winter, water may start to settle in the case.

This is because the temperature of the case cools down considerably and the warm and possibly humid air condenses inside the console. Similar to a car window in winter, the casing fogs up – and that can have fatal consequences.

That’s why there’s an official warning from Nintendo on Platform X:

If such water damage occurs, the frustration is great. To prevent sudden temperature changes from harming the console, you can wrap it in a towel (or other insulating material) or wear it close to your body, for example.

The only question is whether such a thing should happen at this price. What do you guys think? Is it a design flaw or is something like this unavoidable? Write it in the comments.
