The upcoming October update for the Retro-like deep sea diving role-playing game Dave the Diver by (MINTROCKET) promises a wealth of new content and activities. After previous updates focused mainly on bug fixes and quality of life improvements, this update will bring exciting additions. Highlights include new quests in the glacier area and the introduction of crabs and lobsters in the ocean. To catch these animals, players will need special traps. In addition, there will be an entertaining lobster party event.

The update will also reinforce differences between day and night in the game by introducing new nocturnal animals. Players can now get support for their farm, use a storage box for eggs and a food dispenser for chickens. A new VIP customer at the Sushi Restaurant will offer exclusive items and recipes when players fulfill their orders

The developers are also planning to introduce a strong new boss enemy, but it will only be available once all the Marina cards in the game have been collected. However, it is unclear if this boss will be part of the upcoming update

In addition, the update will allow breeding more animals in the fish farm that could not be bred before. Some adjustments, such as a reduction in the Thresher Shark’s visibility, tracking speed and damage, are also planned. The exact release date for the update has yet to be announced, but Dave the Diver will also be available for the Nintendo Switch on October 26, 2023 Fans of the game can look forward to exciting new features and challenges.
