Assassin’s Creed Jade will be free to play from start to finish. That’s according to a blog post from publisher Level Infinite.

You quickly become sceptical about mobile games, Diablo Immortal at the latest taught us that. How much money will you have to pay for Assassin’s Creed Jade in the course of the game in order to progress? Apparently nothing, as Executive Producer Andrei Chan now reveals.

In a (blog post by publisher Level Infinite) he is quoted as saying that the Chinese Assassin’s Creed will be playable from start to finish without having to spend any money. Of course, that doesn’t mean you can’t still spend your savings on it. However, it is not clear from the article whether the monetisation is only limited to cosmetic content.

The game will be available for free.

Cassandra in Jade

What is confirmed instead is the appearance of Odyssey main character Cassandra. Her appearance was already leaked, but now it is also official. She might not be the only known character either, after all, iconic franchise faces like Cassandra are spoken of, so in the plural.

After the release in 2024, it’s not supposed to be over with Jade by a long shot. Apparently, further regions and features are to be added – but the article does not get specific.

If you don’t fancy a mobile Assassin’s Creed, you can look forward to AC Mirage instead. Or Witch. Or Nexus. Or Red. Or Infinity. Or Invictus. There should be no shortage of assassins in the next few years. If you’re overwhelmed with all the titles!

Will you check out Jade when it comes out then next year or won’t you give the mobile game a chance even if it’s free? Which Assassin’s Creed sounds the most promising to you so far and the big question: Which is your favourite AC? Feel free to write it in the comments!
