Mimimi Games has released Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew on Thursday. As the reviews on Steam and Metacritic show, stealth fans are in for a treat.

After successful titles like Shadow Tactics and Desperados III Mimimi Games moves stealth gameplay into an alternate version of the Golden Age of Pirates with Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew. Together with the eight-man undead crew of the Red Marley, a living pirate ship, you explore the Lost Caribbean. This region is teeming with supernatural machinations that you too must take advantage of.

To revive the crew, you need the legendary Black Pearls. However, standing between them and you are the dangerous members of the Inquisition, who are all too eager to raze any supernatural to the ground.

In Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, you must explore numerous islands of the Lost Caribbean in search of the Black Pearls. Each of them presents a unique sandbox adventure that you can face with selected crew members.

Each of your members has a distinct, polished character with individual abilities, allowing you to use the prevailing conditions of the islands to your advantage.

However, you should do this as unseen as possible. If you are discovered by the inquisitors, a fight will ensue. Even though you are undead pirates, your combat powers are not exactly the greatest.
If you’re curious, you can now play Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. You can either support the German developer studio ( directly) or buy it at the respective stores.
