Mortal Kombat 1 will be released on 19 September 2023 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S and represents a reboot of the series. The first gameplay for the new fighting game has now been presented at the Summer Game Fest kick-off. One important new feature is the cameos.

Before duels, you can select a second character in addition to your “normal” fighters, whose moves you can use sporadically. Otherwise, the new title looks as brutal as ever. The big highlight in every fight is, of course, the finisher at the end, with which you can literally tear your opponents apart.
