Tolkien fans take note: Soon you’ll be able to return to the dark depths of Khazad-dûm and build away to protect yourself from orcs

Zeep the Rings alive!

Dwarves are a strange lot. They get their asses kicked in Moria, the whole of Middle-earth is open to them to create a new home – but they are always drawn back to Khazad-dûm.

This is also the case in The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria. In the survival sandbox game, you venture into the halls beneath the Misty Mountains that have been taken over by orcs and other abominations. Your tasks include pretty much…everything. Construct buildings, feed hungry dwarves, kill creatures and more. On your subterranean journeys you can even discover magical artefacts, which of course glow in keeping with their status when orcs are around.

By the way, you don’t have to do this alone, but also cooperatively with up to eight other players. But why write about it, you can just watch it for yourself:

Release still 2023

Well, did you get the desire for Return to Moria now? If so, we have some good news for you! Because it’s not long until the release. Your return to Moria is supposed to begin as early as autumn 2023.

If you’re hoping for a Steam release, you’ll be disappointed: Return to Moria will be released on PC exclusively in the Epic Store.
