Escape Academy soon to receive 2nd DLC

The popular co-op puzzle game Escape Academy will soon receive its second DLC. In Escape From the Past , players will experience a short journey through time and take on the roles of familiar characters.

Since its release last summer, the co-op game Escape Academy has enjoyed great popularity. Over a million players and the positive reviews on Steam and Metacritic are testament to the digital escape room fun you can have with this game. In addition, the game by Coin Crew Games, iam8bit and Skybound Games has won the Webby Award for the best family, children’s and educational game as well as in the categories puzzle, strategy and trivia.

The rather quick release of the first DLC in November 2022 is now followed by the second DLC in July.

Escape From the Past is considered a prequel to the main game and tells the story of Sandra Solange and Eel Barnes when they were students at the Escape Academy themselves. When the two learn that an assassination attempt has been made on the acting headmaster Horatio Windsor, they begin investigating to prevent the worst from happening.

Five new missions await you, which will require a lot of cooperative brainpower. On the other hand, we can expect interactions with the new…ähh old academy staff.

Escape From the Past will be available from 19 July for 9,99 Euro. In autumn this year, the Complete Edition of Escape Academy will be available for the Nintendo Switch. This will include all DLCs and will be available for purchase for 29.99 euros in the (Nintendo eShop
