Mirthwood is a role-playing game that sees itself as a life simulation and throws you as a refugee of a war-torn country into an open world in which you build up your new existence. In the trailer you not only get a first impression of the fantasy scenario, but also of the gameplay.
Here you manage a farm and devote yourself to agricultural tasks, but at the same time also produce increasingly better items and equipment in order to be able to trade with neighbouring towns. The hand-drawn graphic style is particularly striking. But the peaceful life does not end there. You will also have to fight battles and deal with survival mechanics such as diseases and the weather.
It will still be a while before Mirthwood is released. The developer currently only roughly mentions 2024 as a release date.
